The best parts of this video are the video clips inside the frame behind Damon, Kirk, & Tony. It's stuff Prince shot around PP and the Galpin house. There's sort of a clever shot of himself at the 6:30 mark, where he's recording his reflection in a mirror frame that sits on a console table. There is also a shot of his bedroom at the 6-minute mark. Also, the stained glass door to his area at PP gets a lot of play throughout.

I'm not always thrilled with the mix itself. I always wanted to skip past it when playing the EP.

Your sentences make zero sense. And actually I did add to the thread by noting very cool moments in the video, opposed to attacking anyone personally like you did.

See, I asked a question. "Have you guys ever seen the video EP?" Someone plainly posted "haven't seen this before". I'm surprised it's not been seen by a Prince fan by this point. But I understand that's possible. The video has been widely released since 1991, and frankly it's been posted on the Org before. It's a valid question.

However, your attempt to cut someone down for the sake of being personal (look up the term ad hominem) has totally derailed Latin's thread, thereby making you the culprit of your own accusation.

There were so many remixes of "Gett Off", too. The Urge and Pump mixes were the same overseas as some in the U.S., just with different names. If one ever wondered how many ways a song could be remixed - "Gett Off" is the audible aid.

I sorta wish he had done the same for the Cream EP. There were so many great mixes on that EP. Housebangers, Q In Doubt, etc. But to put out a video EP is something not too many folks were doing. Madonna's one video, "Justify My Love" sold a gazillion copies, but it still just one song (which was more than noteworthy of course).

Interesting note that the version of "Gett Off" on Tthe Diamonds and Pearls Video Collection has certain edits like the word "wet", but on the VHS EP, nothing is editing. I swear there's some titty in the original "Gett Off" too, near Tommy Barbarella (dude's obviously a tit magnet).

I hoped for the same back in the day after seeing the Cream video on the D&P Video Collection. I could just picture The Steeles singing Do Your Dance and The NPG bouncing round simliar to the Willing & Able performance.
