I love her version. Listen to it a lot. It's so cool to know Prince approved if her covering it as well

i saw her too that night. great voice, but i find it soul "less" and more of play acting soul. i think

she would be great in a Disney production tho, she has worked hard on sounding the part but i

don't feel any pain that relates thru the singing for me. best.

Soul-less? Are we talking about the same singer? I can name plenty of soul-less singers but Morgan aint one of them. I'd suggest you try again

Morgan James is a great singer who covered "Call My Name" with Prince's full blessing. She also does a pretty good cover of D'Angelo and the Vanguard's complete Black Messiah--not as funky as the D'Angelo original but it's got soul, plus the lyric enunciation that doesn't come off as well in D's noise-saturated recording and fully acoustic accompanyment that brings the bluesy feel upfront and distinguishes it as a nice counterpart to the original excellent piece of work.

cool

A friend just shared this with me. I quite like it. On the same Hunter album she covered "Dancing In The Dark" by Bruce Springsteen.

She also did a full album cover of Joni's Blue, which of course has "A Case Of U" on it.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
