So, like everyone else, I love this track.

My question has to do with an "error" in the (flac) version I have. (BFTP 3.0)

Around the minute 9:06 a guy shouts "I like it" in the background.

Then the chant "Dance, the Dance Electric" is suppossed to come but it's cut and the word "Electric" is not there (9:09),
and it sounds just like when the needle jumps on a record and skips a part.

I got it several times from different sources, but all the time it was the same.

So, was it really recorded this way?

In the compilation The Work the word is also ommitted, but the "skip" doesn't sound so evident,
it was fixed (I guess). In this version the guy shouts at 9:11.

By the way, the shout "I like it" is part of the song. I don't think it's P's voice, though.

i never noticed that!

but again i believe the skip is intentional by the person who ever leaked the track, as there way of marking the song. When the song leaked pople were asking the same question

I believe André's version is exactly identical to P's, so that would be a simple way to check whether bootleggers have toyed with it. But anyway PR Deluxe will solve that in a few dayz.

I think BFTP 1 has Andre's version. (yes, and the AC reissue too) It, indeed, does not have that skip, as far as I can tell. The mix, towards the end, is quite different though.
