I don't know a Laura shrug

You said he doesn't "have the ability to make mature decisions", an obvious reference to his Special Education classes, as the reason for a junior high age student somehow not knowing the consequences of pointing a real looking gun at strangers in public, and for not knowing the worst possible thing anyone could do is reach for a gun when police are approaching you. So technically no, you didn't "call him stupid" ... you just used a very polite way of saying the same thing. But I'm not criticizing you for it, so no need to get defensive. All I'm saying is he obviously didn't have anyone in his life (parent or guardian) teach him about the dangers of pointing, concealing and reaching for a real looking gun. It's not his fault, it's just a really really sad situation. It's unfortunate that more people, especially celebrities, don't emphasize the importance of raising your kids right. Because let's face it, bad parenting and the absence of parenting is a MUCH bigger problem than bad cops. sad

eek Yes, he wasn't an adult, he couldn't make adult decisions, unlike the cop who shot him. Not that he was stupid, or at all referencing his special education classes. eek

.

When we were kids we played with toy guns and none of them had the orange tip on them, in fact back then I doubt if they even made orange tips for the play guns.

.

You sure like drama don't you Pokeno? Stop trying to make my comment about him not being mature enough, into something it isn't, nor ever was.

Me like drama? You're the one getting emotional for no reason! Why can't you just admit if he had been taught better, he'd still be alive, then we can move on. I don't want to get bogged down rehashing what's already been proven fact long ago, but for some reason you still want to believe the cops were 100% at fault? rolleyes

And yeah, I had a toy gun as a kid ... it was very clearly a fake one, old style western cap gun. None of the kids I hung with had real-looking guns, because that would be stupid. neutral

Thanks Latin hug

Will add another of his political songs United States of Division

What other political songs by Prince would you add Guitarhero? There are so many.

Hey Latin yes so many.

Partyup

Party, got to party down, baby
Revolutionary rock and roll
Goin' uptown, baby
How you gonna make me kill somebody
I don't even know?

You're gonna have to fight your own damn war
'Cause we don't wanna fight no more

Dreamer

I was born and raised on the same plantation
In the united states of the red, white and blue
I never knew that I was different
Till Dr. King was on the balcony
Lying in a bloody pool

21st century, oh what a shame, what a shame

Race, race still matters

A race to what, and where we going?

We in the same boat, but I’m the only one rowing

Dance On

It's time for new education

The former rules don't apply
We need a power structure that breeds production
Instead of jacks who vandalize

We March

Now's the time to find a rhyme
That's got a reason and frees the mind
From angry thoughts, the racist kind
If we all wanna a change then come on get in line
