soladeo1	I love "Can Eye Play With U?"!!!!!! I know several of y'all have heard this before but it was fresh for me when I heard it this weekend. It RAWKS!!! So jaunty, playful, and uniquely Prince-ish!!!!

paulludvig	It's a fantastic track. Only Prince could write and record something like this. The wooh is on the one!

Apparently Prince was unhappy with the results and never released it. However just as a standalone track on its own it is fun and playful and in his nature very sexual.

The song was about to be released on a Miled Davis box set but was pulled.

During a Love4oneanother.com "? of the week" in 1999, a fan (using the name Øster) asked whether Prince had recorded in the studio with Miles Davis, to which Prince replied:

have recorded with Miles... it sounds as u would xpect: chaotic and beautiful! Its release depends on the length of The War [referring to feuds with record companies rather than the track The War]."

The longer version of the track was planned for release (credited to "Miles Davis with Prince") as the twelfth track on a 2001 box-set of Miles Davis's Warner Bros. work, entitled The Last Word, but the track was not included on the eventual 2-disc 2010 release, titled Perfect Way.

It's like 30 years old track and well known, good you found it.
There's a boot called 'Crucial' with more in that vein; and for me it's one of P's very very best albums ever; in the top 5. Make that top 3 even.
