DJ Lenka Paris was the opening act when I saw Princess (Maya Rudolph & Gretchen Lieberum) perform here in Brooklyn last year. She was very good. I liked her selection of Prince songs. | |

She will need to let these complaints be water off a ducks back and keep following her heart in selecting Prince tracks. I have a few of her sets and she already does a great job with feeding both audiences. I think with a little more practice in beat matching/transitions/weaving the music together she could be the #1 Prince DJ. |

I commented on that post and she is spot on. I was present during the whole thing and experienced two totally different worlds regarding the hardcore fams and the casual crowd. We have to embrace them, but we also have to be more prelevant then to set our own hardcore fam parties and invite casual fans to come along...hey we all started off that way. Lenka is right. I miss her very much. Dudley, Jules and Lenka are the three best Prince Minnesota based DJS there are, but the most closest I follow is Lenka since 2003! Straight Jacket Funk Affair
