"Resolution" listed as "Revelation" and other anomalies?

Lately I've been giving "Planet Earth" a listen; it certainly went from unlistenable to pretty darn good after a few recent spins; with the exception of 2 songs I always skip.

Playing it in my car from the CD it lists the song on the digital readout.

I haven't looked at the song titles in ages.

The last song is identified as "Revelation." I re-listened and re-listenend and couldn't quite see how this song that repeats the word "Resolution" is titled "Revelation?" Unless it was some deep Princely mysterious titling?

Since it has no song listing anywhere on the CD I had to google it.

Yup, it's "Resolution."

???

Any other odd song title anomalies out there besides the usual "You" or "U?" mix-up?

My same experience exactly. It was especially curious given that he eventually did have a song named Revelation, a much better one I might add. I can imagine if folks who weren't aware of the real one might have been confused when they heard of all the accolades that Revelation got here on the org.

Isn't that strange how that happens? Which is why I'm never ready to make a definite thumbs down decision after only a few listens (or even one--or part of one, as some people around here seem to regularly do).

I seem to remember when I was ripping the thing originally that Windows Media Player wanted to identify it as Revelation--but I also think I remember that title showing up in early circulated tracklists. I think I remember being confused when I actually got the album and it was Resolution.

IT really is, songs or albums I didn't care for and/or really notice at first few into favorites over the years. A couple of examples

I was majorly dissapointed my first time listening to the album Come, now I love it.

I had Pink Cashmere on the hits, but loved it from the moment when I first heard it in Girl 6, but didn't even know i already had it until I checked.

I've always heard "trampoline," too.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
