Yeah, but... that's not UTCM. But I get it - close to the same time.

For me, the movie in color and black & white. A few messy parts cleaned up if possible. All the videos (which we have), the Cobo hall show, in full. The Sheridan premiere party, including stuff filmed we didn't see. Any outtakes from the movie (like that alternative intro). An audio commentary by Kristen Scott Thomas, Jerome & maybe someone else would be nice, but she'd probably never do it.

As far as the Parade album, the album remastered, plus songs like "Old Friends 4 Sale" segueing (as Prince originally had it) into "All My Dreams", "Others Here With Us", "Little Girl Wendy's Parade", his demo for "Kiss", his vocal for "Mia Bocca" (it was in the movie, remember), "Neon Telephone, "The Question of U", "Splash", "Come Elektra Tuesday", "Heaven", "Euphoria Highway", which are all songs recorded in 1985 when UTCM was being filmed (when he was back at Sunset Sound), and worked on other UTCM tracks in-between. Plus the b-sides, extended of existing 12" singles. That'd be two good disks, if they put some extended stuff at the end of the album disk (if necessary).

Maybe something like this. Maybe just a dream though.

Won't be happening. The movie tanked and doesn't have enough of a cult following to be financially successful to do a re-issue with deluxe content. There isn't a color version and sadly Michael Ballhaus won't be able to do a commentary because he passed away a few weeks ago.

I love the idea, but sadly, it won't happen.

At the risk of sounding controversial, , a fan collection will always have 20 CDs and 10 DVDs, but the reality is that it would be:

.

• a remastered album,
• a disc of remixes and edits and as with PR,
• perhaps a disc of unreleased vault material,
• and the Californian birthday concert DVD.

.

Even this is making major assumptions!

I wouldn't expect anything more, as that would be very disappointing.

The colorized DVD would be nice but I'm not going waste the energy of getting my hopes up.
