Video: Prince and Barack Obama

Low Cut Connie frontman Adam Wiener tells a little-known story that describes former President Barack Obama's fandom of Prince.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

First time Prince ever played for a president or at the white house..awesome considering Prince's views on government at times were weary to say the least (JW influenced beliefs) . Prince seemed to be evolving on certain issues at the end of his life.

BTW, Obama is a class act (goofy dance moves or not).

Pete Souza probably took 100+ pictures that night. I wish we could see them but it was a private function.
Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

It doesn't matter that the event was private. Per federal law, all official WH photos should be available to the public around the time that the Obama Library opens, in about 5 years. (That's assuming, of course, that Souza and/or BO don't release them before then.)

There is a framed letter from Michelle and Barack Obama in the entry hall at Paisley Parksending their condolances to the people of Minneapolis and the staff at Paisley Park. It's on the left side after you leave the main entrance across from the stairwell. Perhaps someday there will be a framed photo of Barack and Prince?
