Not being facetious here...but isn't Sheila E. coming out with a new book?

I have not heard her say anything about another book. Her book came out in 2014

There was a tribute on the Tom Moyner show the morning of P's anniversary (4/21/17), and there was a speil about SE's book, I figured it was something new coming out, being it's been 2 years since she released the 1st book. I did not play the audio or read an article, just saw the title.

I enjoyed Mayte's book. There was nothing hateful in her book, and I do understand the book was written from her perspective, not Prince's. I wish she had included more little day to day factoids about their life together.

He probably burned it with the rest of her stuff. She is probably still hoping the will with her as beneficiary still exists. Even if there was a will, someone probably found and destroyed it. Otherwise, it might turn up well hidden in the vault.

You get in touch with reality. She would have never recieved a publishing deal if she did not go melodramatic. Also she appears to have not been involved in his life for 20 years what factoids could she give.

Maybe he had a will when he was married and planned on having children. Later when it was only him he perhaps didn't see the point.

Perhapss. If he was very close and on good terms with his sister and all of the half-siblings alike, I might agree with you that there may not be a point if he wanted all of his wealth to be divided up between all siblings. But a few other orgers have noted (not necessarily in this thread) that he was not on the best of terms with his siblings. Protective as he was of his wealth and property, I would think he would definitely want to keep a will updated to ensure his hard-earned money didn't wind up in the hands of any unfriendly relatives who may want to exploit his death. He had his pet charities--empowering African-American youth and communities, supporting music programs, etc. --so I would think he would have wanted a will in place to ensure some portion of his wealth would be directed toward such charitable causes in the event of his death, as opposed to being potentially spent on luxury items by inheritors he may never have intended to bequeath any of his wealth to.

Some of you should see the racist post her friend Dave has made and realize he is helping her promote the book. This is a women who was married to a Blackman and her best buddy has posted some really vile stuff. Not to mention Mayte's own behavior and commets on Hollywood Ex's. I am not making up anything about her.
