Hey, at least we're getting the Hallway Speech version...

Wait, what do you consider "full" and "uncut"? Any longer versions are usually missing a load of the vocals and just have a bit more jamming. I'd rather take the full song over an extra minute of feedback.

The hallway version is by far the superior version.

for me the best part is the "should I go to church on Sunday" part... i do not care too much for the Hallway...but I believe the 12 min one has both

There is a longer version.

Personally, I think the best version is 7 min version (the one that was going on PR album until Take Me With U came along. It packs more of a punch that the 12/14 minute versions and I can see why Prince settled with it as 'final' version until he had to edit again to fit the extra track on.

I believe it was the vocals with lyrics like "father father, were is the dawn father" and "on the verge of a breakdown, what is life without love...it's hell computer blue" and "Woman are not butterflies, they're computers too, just like you"

The version on Purple Rain is simply the 7.5 min version with the last 3.5 mins lopped off (with a fade edit). Then there was room to squeeze take Me With U on the Vinyl. So we lost all the lovely 'poor lonely computer' stuff.

Oh ok longer than the 14min version. I have so many I don't know what I have.

My go to for this song is the Syracus live, 83 First Ave, the 11:83min really raw, and the 7min when I need an adrenaline rush.

As least the world will get a longer version of this purple opus.

I know what you're talking about. I've heard a 14min version with all lyrics + the 1.5 minutes of screeching feedback at the end. I think that's what WB edited out, which is a shame.
