I remember when members of The Revolution talked about Dream Factory, and how they all just draw and added something to the intended artwork. They'd either sign it, or draw something - whatever came to them, and that was going to be the cover art. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I think it is interesting. I also think it is interesting that she stated "our" home on Galpin.

no, not off the top of my head. I'm wondering if her mentioning the white space and not being able to fill it with color, was were images from songs were supposed to go.

She lived there and she was his fiancee....so I can see why she would consider it to be their home.

looks interesting, I assume its not the finished piece. Don't forget the insane early artwork for Around the World in a Day.

What did this look like? I don't think I've seen it before. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

I don't particularly like it, but I'll use it for artwork. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

Wow. This artwork was a draft and idea as I read it. So, the final product would probably be awsome 😊 >Peace and B WilD!!!

Very cool. Thanks to Susannah for sharing! "I like to watch."

well it was home for her at the time. I don't think it is anything new or something she is 'claiming' She lived there. When talking in past tense or in a recollection of feeling and memory, people talk in that reality.

Always loved that cover. Seemed to perfectly evoke the music contained within. 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

. How hard is it to get that image without "two disc set" in red? I prefer this image myself.. . Paisley Park is in your heart - Love Is Here!

I haven't read all the books with details of dates and album configurations, but I always assumed Dream Factory / Crystal Ball were put together AFTER The Revolution split up! Incredible really that these albums were ready to release, but just didn't happen. The Revolution must have been more than a little annoyed at the time (you'd assume!)

I spoke to Susannah today and got a signed copy of the artwork.
It seems the concepts we think of in terms of albums and eras didn't exist in the eye of the storm. Prince was producing so much music that no one knew what project it might end up on. .

Prince + whoever were just recording and recording. Tonnes of tracks. These got put into rough assemblies and Prince played with sequences but nothi was ever final or firmed up until we got to Crystal Ball (was Camille ever offered officially to Warners?) Saying that the myth of Dream Factory has always been so tantalising and some of the assemblies/sequences for that supposed album are wonderful! I think that is how, with some notable exceptions, Prince always worked. He just spent most of his time writing and recording songs. Eventually some of these got grouped together and ended up forming albums. [Edited 4/24/17 1:05am] 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Instead of Sign O the Times three separate releases of The Flesh /Camille / Dream Factory would have been the greatest ever, better than Crystal Ball IMHO. I know theres some crossover here and there but that could be overcome. Obviously its all just wishful thinking tho [Edited 4/24/17 1:18am]

What about Madhouse? Yeah I was wondering where to fit that in. I suppose really they're just the next step after The Flesh, albums 2 and 3. They're different enough from each other themselves as it is. Sure there's the Jill Jones album as well. 1987 was quite a year!
