Our Destiny / Roadhouse Garden It looks as if the version of these on the Purple Rain Deluxe are probably what we already.
The Track time is 6.25 which pretty much maches the timings of the two tracks we have and Sifi had already confirmed that Our Destiny was the version with Lisa's vocals.
Personally I will be a bit of a let down if that is the case.

we bootleg collecters have lots of stuff.. i expect on future releases we might see a bunch of the same stuff we already have. Hell multiple bootlegs have the same tracks

Someone else on here said that the Roadhouse Garden whihc is circulating is a mono version from one channel of the stereo version which the 'elites' have. As such it's missing things from the other channel such as background vocals and further instrumentation. The one we have has always sounded a bit empty to me, so I'm looking forward to hearing a proper version of the track. RIP  | |

Well he confirmed it was A version with Lisa singing, not necessarily the mix we have, although I'd be fine with that since it sounds good. Glad to hear Roadhouse Garden has more to it though | |

I was thinking that the leaked RG was bare-bones and all that was on tape since Lisa and Wendy declined to work on it. Here's to hoping there's more to it... "I like to watch." | |

L&W declined to work on the ALBUM Roadhouse Garden P was putting together, not necessarily that particular song. That song was probably finished back when. | |

I love Lisa's vocals in "Our Destiny", she has a beautiful voice and it's always nice to hear her take the lead on a song. | |

There is a more complete version of Roadhouse Garden with Claire Fisher's stings and everything (as played by Questlove). In spite of the fact that we shouldn't be getting this on a deluxe edition of Purple Rain... Hopefully this is the version we do get. [Edited 5/1/17 8:33am] Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain. |

I would hope Estate only release final somewhat finshed versions...matter of fact..the circulating Our Destiny had that in it and cuts off abruptly so assuming it will continue [Edited 5/1/17 12:04pm] Straight Jacket Funk Affair
