The War CD
Is it considered a cd single or is it considered an EP?
A copy was recently for sale on e-bay & the seller claimed only 500 copies were pressed - is this true?

It was a npgmc/1-800-new-funk only release for a very short period.
Indeed, about 500 copies exist. The original price was $10, expect to pay at least $100 now.

It's not an EP, since there's only one song on it.

The cassette is widely available.

I think that that is true! I thing it was sent out to DJ's and friends and such (don't quote me though) I have a copy of it on CD (RW) and it is a very interesting piece of musci, it's not everyone's cup of tea though!!

I have the cassette version.

I was lucky & bought a cd of The War when they went of sale thru 1-800-NEWFUNK. I never would have guessed so few were pressed. If it hadn't been for someone posting on prince.org that they had gone up for sale I doubt if I would have been able to get one.

Dawnunder doesn't have the cd label and covers for The War CD - can someone orgnote me if you have them? I got my CD copy from the CD-tree (New Funk had also sent me the cassette), and it would be nice to give it a label.
