New Unreleased Song Called "Play" Hi,
Maybe I missed this song before but just heard a new unreleased song called "Play". Sounds like it could have been recorded within the last 5 years or so. Sounds fantastic! [Edited 4/13/17 20:25pm]

"Play" has definitely been around for at least 20 years. I remember getting it in the Napster days. It was probably on CD boots pre-internet. If it's the one from 1990, here's more from Princevault:
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I don't think we are talking about the same song. The song starts out with Prince saying "Can you come outside and play?" and he screams the word play. It is an uptempo song. Some lyrics are:
Can ucome outside and play?
Give me ur name and number, give me the keys 2 ur ride Put the top down, let me cruise up the ocean side Let me put my arm around u, unsnap your self-consciousness....

Come outside and play (as I know it) has been in circulation since Pontius was a Pilate. If there's another song called Play out there then I've not heard but would dearly love too. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

Couldnt get into this one much but nice to hear. I understand why he removed it, Get Off and Love Left were much better tunes. I used to get this and My Tree mixed up they kinda sound alike. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
