Prince in Tokyo?

Hello,

I'm going to Tokyo this summer. As Tokyo offers pretty much everything you can imagine, it occurred to me that the city may have some kind of Prince-related tribute, shop, event etc. Does anybody here know of any such thing?

Thanks.

You can visit Shinjuku area as you can find some bootlegs shops...
Tribute events? Am not aware of that.
Summer is very hot by the way.

The Tower Records in Shibuya used to have a nice little shrine to Prince last year, but when I was there in February they had already taken it down. I'm sure they still carry lots of Prince CDs, though. If not, there are lots of record stores, and you should be able to find Prince stuff. You will also be able to find Prince bootlegs. I found some in a bootleg store that I stumbled upon on my way to work one day (I posted pictures on another thread here).
If you go to Tokyo Dome City, there is an amusement park here - it's a pretty central location in Tokyo- next to the famous Korakuen park/garden. Here you can see the Tokyo Dome, where Prince played so many incredible shows. You don't need a ticket to the amusement park to see it; the arena is at the entrance to Tokyo Dome City, which is an enormous shopping mall, and directly behind the Tokyo Dome hotel. If you go here, there is also La Qua, a 24 hour multi-level spa. They have natural hot springs (onsen) at this spa, which is really cool to do if you don't have time to go to any of Japan's many other famous hot springs outside of Tokyo.
There was some Prince manga/anime done at one time, I think it was published as comic books and was pretty popular-I've read about it on here as well. It's some kind of Prince-inspired purple comic hero. You might be able to find this stuff in one of Tokyo's many bookstores.
That's all I've got. I would also be curious if anyone else here has any Prince-related recs in Tokyo. Have a great trip.
