Not that any of this should matter, but I always assumed prince was a black man or creo for that matter. I know he is mixed in some way or another, based on the fairness of his skin and his features, but I often hear people say how he is a Hispanic male or something other than black. I mean if you listen closely to his songs he refers to himself as a black man. Am I wrong?

Anyway, I don't know what he thinks himself to be, I've always thought he was black.
None of us are 100% anyting, but, yeah, I'd say he's black

Haven't you heard? Prince is really part Hawaiian,part Puerto Rican,part Filipino,part White,part French,part Indian,part Chinese and he has a little bit of African-American in him,too.

I'ved loved Prince since I was about 12. I've never thought of him as black or white or brown or grey or anything, he was just prince. When I was dancing on the stage at Manchester, I was jiggling about directly behing him and it was the first time ever I thought "Oh yeah, Prince IS black" You see, I could see every tuff of his AFRO at the nape of his neck. So this educated me to the fact he is black. He was (and still is) always just 'beautiful Prince' to me.

He ain't black, at least so say I!
He has a black mans moves, black mans voice, black mans attitude, but I'd muc hrather say he's a mix between Hispan, Filipine and white.
At last, how come that matters?
