i only own Letitgo & Thieves on actual 12" records...
but have lotsa extended 12" versions of the songs.

GETT OFF is still & will always be my fave...

The PR, ATWIAD, Parade & Lovesexy singles have the greatest 12" mixes.

It's just a shame their aren't more official mixes of Prince songs.

The 12" versions are always the best, but it would it be nice to hear some other mixes by other people for the singles like other artists.

LETS GO CRAZY/EROTIC CITY : This is the version that is played in Purple Rain & the extended version of EC.

MOUNTAINS/VENUS DE MILO:Venus rocks!Just thinking about it makes me think of the greatness of the man.

SOTT/LA LA LA HEE HEE HEE:The SOTT era 12's had b side remixes & extended versions that were awesome.

I COULD NEVER TAKE THE PLACE OF YOUR MAN/ HOT THING: Personal favorite of mine but the edited version & remixes of Hot Thing are wonderful.

ALL of the 12 inches are super but the ones between 83 & 87 are some of the reasons why Prince is one of the all time greats.

Question: is there a good and thorough Prince discography out there somewhere?
