gold experience tracklists? does anyone here know the evolution of the tracklist for the gold experience? i'm looking for stuff that was printed in uptown magazine. i think at one point there were supposed to be 19 songs, then there was even talk about a 2 CD set. anyone know for sure? the two main tracklists for 'The Gold Experience'
are as follows...(not including NPG Operator segues) version from 19th May 1994: Interactive Days Of Wild The Most Beautiful Girl In The World Now Acknowledge Me Ripopgodazippa 319 Shy Billy Jack Bitch I Hate U Gold version from 13th October 1994 Pussy Control Endorphinmachine Shhh We March Days Of Wild The Most Beautiful Girl In The World Dolphin Now 319 Shy Billy Jack Bitch I Hate U Gold . | |

There were numerous other incarnations of the
album as well as the two mentioned above. But the exact tracklists for most of them are not known. the tracks from TGE and Come were also pretty interchangeable at this time, with Prince changing his mind about seperating them into 2 albums, and rumor has it, combining a lot of the tracks into a double or triple album. There were rumors about a triple album entitled 'The Dawn' around this time, which later resurfaced just after Emancipation was released. Other tracks from around this time that were considered for TGE or The Dawn... Hide The Bone Love Sign Somebody's Somebody What's My Name The Ride Chaos & Disorder The Same December 18 & Over Zannalee Empty Room Welcome 2 The Dawn plus of course all the 'Come' tracks, many of which were reworked. For quite a while the album was going to open with a seamless segue of Come/Endorphinmachine/Space, before going into Days Of Wild and TMBGITW. The following tracklist is from a German WEA tape that dates from October 1994...
There is a US WB CD with the same tracklist that dates from august 1994... This version was going to be released on November 20th 1994... 01. Pussy Control 02. Endorphinmachine 03. Acknowledge Me 04. We March 05. Days O' Wild 06. The Most Beautiful Girl In The World 07. Dolphin 08. Now 09. 319 10. Shy 11. Billy Jack Bitch 12.  Hate U
13. Gold This tracklist also appeared on the "The Gold Experience" flyer (the gold on black flyer with the sunflower on it) with a release date that stated "NEVER"... And this is also the tracklist of the "gold foil" version of the album (which was the original album art that would have been released on November 20th 1994) that David Letterman held up when  performed "Dolphin" on his show...

I agree, I think that the track is easier listening as an 'out-take' but I definitely think it would be better suited for TGE than Now, 319, or We March. Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas.
