April 7th, I was on my way to Atlanta for the Piano and Mic concert. I had pulled over to get gas and checked messages, and saw the concert was cancelled. Headed back home but hung on to my tickets. April 14th he tweeted, asking if we were ready for the show. I wasn't able to take off this time, like I had a week earlier, so had to work that day, but tweeted back to him, "YES! But wait for me! I have to do Social Worker thingies first!" and then I headed back down to Atlanta again, and got stuck in traffic on the way down. He started the show late (thankfully) and I didn't miss any of it. April 17th, Prince retweeted me. And then April 21st happened. He was on my mind from the excitement of having tickets to see the show starting in March through now. But April was all him. There was not a single moment in April in which he was not on my mind. And he's not left my mind since then. I miss him every single day, still. | |

Cried like a girl that heard New Kids On The Block were quiting the day he passed away! But hey, I guess we are just human!!! Age or sex doesn't matter!! On the other hand I am happy I was able to have experienced all this, but sometimes it hits you hard that there will never be anything really new and in the "now" concerning Prince..... Yes, still missing him terribly. Seeing that People Mag cover in the grocery store caught me of guard and I've been weepy since then. In some ways it's easier to deal with but it still seems impossible that he's not here anymore.

I told myself I have to listen to other music; nothing comes close. Lately in the morning when the sun is rising, I notice the sky has an awesome purple hue to it and I watch it and think of him. Many things remind me of him. Yea, missing him bad. | |
