Every word of that song was prophetic. That song along with Way Back Home are almost too deep to listen to.

I love both songs. I did before and I do now. Equally. I couldn't listen to either initially. Then when I finally felt able to listen again I sobbed buckets the first time but made it all the way through. They both still tug at my heart, along with a few others. So I have to always follow it up with 319, DMSR, or something equally funky and upbeat that make me smile and bounce along despite myself It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Like the Oakland show at Oracle Arena when Prince is singing Paisley Park and says "That's where I live in Minnesota. Maybe you'll come see me but if you do come in the summertime as it's too cold otherwise." He sure seemed to be inviting people to Paisley a lot the last few years of his life. There was one show in Amsterdam where Prince said the next time we see each other it will be at Paisley Park and when you come to Paisley Park he needs you to take care of it for him. https://www.facebook.com/...cation=ufi And then this tweet responding to someone with what to do about ticket touts....and the response was residency st Paisley Park. It's snowing in Minneapolis at this moment. Today, fams were allowed on the Paisley Park grounds to post memorials on the purple fence. Just say'in!

Nope. PR is still that heart stringer bell. Thats not to say that SISIA is powerful itself. "Climb in my fur."

I prefer it anyway to Purple Rain. For me PR has to be experienced live and watch him in motion.
However it's poignant for me because I was on Twitter last April 21st and saw the play out at Paisley Park. I phoned someone to say I think Prince is dead and they said half jokingly that he wouldnt die the day before my birthday !
well.... anyway my birthday arrived on April 22nd and I was looking at pictures of Prince's ashes being rushed into a waiting car by Tyka n her son. God did I cry.
There was no celebrating that day!
