I saw that a few minutes ago. He didn't really say anything.

I was just shocked that he was one of them that found him that morning! I can't imagine walking in on that morning. I would not want to be one that had that final image in my head.

Go to CBS Morning News it is on their website. I do not understand the purpose of the interview or his laughter. I watched this because I know things can come off wrong in writing but what was the point of this?
The only thing we got from this is that he is a part of the investigation which I figured out anyway since his attorney specializes in drug cases involving enablers.
People from his inner circle need to stop during interviews or be forthcoming. The all are starting to look ridiculous and sneaky.

Oh my god! Some of you will NEVER be happy!! Why do you think no one wsnts to talk. Waa waa waa kirk isnt talking, merone isnt talking, no one is talking boohoo. Why would they when nothing will ever satisfy some pseudo fans here? Positivity people! Listen to the man!! And for the last time no one owes us anything. They don't have to tell us a damn thing and I wish they wouldn't because it's no one business here. We are here to love and support Prince. That's it. Mods might as well lock this thread too right away. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

I don't think anyone could have stopped Prince doing what he loved doing - performing and creating. We all know he was very strong willed...

What a weird interview. Did Kirk know those were the questions they were going to ask and if so why would he agree to the interview? And if CBS wasn't clear about the questions they were going to ask does anyone really think Kirk would answer those questions, especially on a show like this? WTF. Paisley Park is in your heart

It's not about anyone owing us anything. If you are not going to answer questions then why agree to do an interview?

Well this is the first interview Kirk has done. Aside from Tyka who else has done one? Unless you're counting Judith Hill as inner circle because she was with him on the plane? Paisley Park is in your heart

What did I post that is so bad? I did not create the headline, that is the headline on CBS website and I simply copied the EXACT weblink and let folks know he was on the show...how does that warrant being a negative post? I checked the rules before I even posted it and made sure it was within the rules.

Perhaps he didn't know what they were going to ask or thought it was going to be more about Prince's legacy (especially since they had access to Paisley Park) than some sort of interrogation. I only say that because it makes no sense for him to agree to the interview if he knew he would refuse to answer most of the questions. These morning shows are usually quite light, not a lot of heavy stories so I was a little surprised at the questions she was asking. Paisley Park is in your heart

I always had a negative vibe about KJ . From the days of him "dancing with Prince" to the days of him "drumming" ...
it was nice to see him chatting ... and at least getting some airtime .
Then he had to chuckle . Completely turned me off again about this guy . Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

I thought it was common knowledge that it was he and merone and the doctor's son. Completely understandable why they weren't able to make the call to 911 that morning. Andrew k said the others with him were very distraught. Omg now I'm crying. This anniversary is going to undo any progress some people have made in the grieving process π’ It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. What a rude prick. Not only does he look very stupid for apparently not knowing he was going to be asked about drugs, and not knowing how to not talk about it with some type of respect, it makes him look guilty. And the laughing??? Everyday something weird happens regarding princes death...

These shows usually feature light hearted interviews and stories as the people watching are primarily women. You have access to Paisley Park and someone who worked with Prince for 30 years. I'm sure there were lots of things she could have asked sbout other than what she did. Paisley Park is in your heart

Yeah, the lauging part is odd. The interview is telling in the sense we now officically know he is helping with the investigation. That gives me the vibe he knows a lot and perhaps has cut a deal/immunity.
Kirk had to know the subject of drugs/pills would have been addressed. He knows more and may not be allowed to say anything due to the investigation and to respect Prince's privacy. I feel like he hinted at verifying Prince had pain issues without directly saying it. Could just be me and I could be wrong.
I think the DEA/Carver County is trying to find the "big fish", the manufacturer of the drugs. That may be what is taking so long. Trying to go from lower tier suppliers to the high level manufactures. It takes time. Just my 2 cents.

A lot of what we saw was nerves. You can tell he was very nervous. You know damn well that they are going to STILL ask about things that may have been discussed prior to the interview and determined as off limit. I think it was a very good thing that the interview was done. Welcome to "the org", Mumioβ¦they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end

But after you watched the interview do you agree with me. The part about his attorney is true and I can send a link about his practice.
