I just have 1 ?... i'm new here, well new 2 the messageboard, but if this is a prince site & we r suppose 2 like prince then why do people hate on him... we all know he is different. like most entertainers...being different sells...some1 stated he contradicts himself...&?...point being?...u r on the prince site...u r buying his music...so what's the point in being negative...

These "haters" don't really hate on Prince but once you appreciate something you become more critical and let's say you get straight to the point to show you "disagree"... But the love is still there... to me I respect the guy, his choices and his music brings something to me not many did... He is unique and a real artist with a definite goal and I respect that...

Seriously, is there a single person on here that digs everything Prince does? MY OPINION is that the artist would have more respect for those who speak the truth compared to those who kiss his ass all the time. I know I would.

Everybody here likes Prince's music, otherwise they wouldn't be here.

There might be the odd troll who comes from under the bridge to post shite in an attempt to piss people off, but that's usually reactionary any way, and they usually get bored pretty quickly.

There are people in every fan community though who see anything other than positive praise of an artist as being a "hater".

Some people need to get off Fantasy Island. I don't want overly sensitive, anal retentive Prince PC(political correctness). There's things I like about Prince's music and things I don't. I refuse to bite my tongue for the sake of those living in "Positivity La La Land". Hmmm. Do the math. It ain't restricted to + signs. There's - (subtraction), multiplication, and division, not to mention algebra, geometry and trig.
It's not hate to express disagreements or dislikes. It's normal and healthy.
