For some reason, I just can't get my head around the fact that Prince lived at PP all alone? I ask this because it was a buliding surrounded by a chain link fence, which doesn't seem that hard to get through.

On 4/21/16, he dies alone at PP, you mean to tell me, that there was NO security on site, even if he didn't die, I find that very strange...I might be reaching, but given what we know about his medical state how the hell did anyone leave him alone there?!?!

My guess is that he called the shots. If he wanted to be alone, no one was going to argue with him. No one wanted to make him mad. Cause I assume if you did....you were out...for good. As far as being there alone, doesn't seem like anyone messed with him much. He was just a "hometown guy" to that town...probably didn't have to worry about break-in's, intruders, etc.

But I agree....if they had already called for help from California, they already knew something was terribly wrong. So why no one stayed or even made up and excuse to stay.......I'll never know. Cause the fact they'd already called for someone to intervene, just shows, "they" knew how bad things were.

It's not the first time I read this kind of statement.

They make Prince sound like a sort of assisted retard and I find it offensive.

For one thing Prince's health condition wasn't life thyreatening. He was in pain but the pain didn't or couldn't kill him. ODing on meds did. P was a very proud man, so obviously he wasn't gonna tell his staff or friends "I'm afraid I'm gonna OD again after the plane incident, stay with me and babysit me".

Besides that...

How can anyone leave me alone at my crib most of the time, regardless of what my health condition could be?

Simple answer: I live alone. So did Prince.

Not all of us like or wish being surrounded by other people all the time. Being on your own is a privilege for some people, it certainly is for me.

And I sure hope people will leave me the hell alone when I'm sick and dying, of all times.

. He had video and sounds cameras all over the place that would detect and send alerts. You missed the recent story here about a cat tripping the security cameras in the parking garage? We know Judith was there half the time, too. It was his home, his studio and a stronghold of concrete and metal. .

That's the first that I've heard that Judith was there "half the time." Do you mean when they were in the studio working? Other than that, there is no indication that Judith was at Paisley Park during non-working hours. Is there? I'd be very interested to hear if you know otherwise. I ask because, based on the promotional video for her album, it looks like she would drive to PP and come to work mornings.

Judith say she had been coming to PP for two weeks a month for two years.

That doesn't mean that she was sleeping at PP. Many people were there for extended periods, but they usually stayed at local hotels or in one of P's guest properties.

Why do argumentative? Prove we are wrong. She traveled with him. She was with him in DC when he went to the White House. She was in Atlanta with him for his last concerts. She described their relationship as intense and they were together for about two years. Do you seriously think Kim Basinger, Carmen Electra etc stayed in a hotel? The only ones who stayed in hotels were likely those he wasn't in a relationship with.

My best friend and I just bought our tix to Paisley Park for our trip in May. I will be bugging you for info on what/where to go in Minneapolis. We will be doing two tours at Paisley, one After Dark and one of the long tours during the day. I am so excited to finally get to see PP. Just wish I'd done it while P was still here.

"He told me he wanted to take up all of my time" is definitely not something Prince would've said to woman if he had romantic intentions. And Judith wouldn't have 'outed' their romantic relationship like that if they had one. To me that line sounds exactly like a professional compliment to another artist, nothing more.

Stop fantasising. Prince didn't sleep with all his associates.

That's true, but once you go "on record" in the New York Times, what more is there to say? Whatever the case, I think she is a lovely woman with an amazing voice. I wish her well.

Unfortunately there are people who believe that to be the case and think anyone who doesn't is just being naïve. Actually I find the notion that Prince couldn't have a relationship with a women without it being sexual in nature deeply insulting to both Prince and his female bandmates/associates.
