People could have been bugging them but saying you quit working for him when their is documentation that is stating otherwise is a whole different situation.
I would imagine somewhere there could be documents showing Pheadra and Mrs. Trotter signatures for work done after 2015. I know there was an interview with the Real Estate agent he sold the PR house to Prince were she states she worked with Pheadra on the transaction that would have been in 2016 and the house belongs to NPG LLC.

We dont know if there truly was a POA signed by P. This was never mentioned by Tidal in the Probate documents. It was mentioned in a short news article that quoted Tidal from the federal copyright case. No one has seen this purported document and right now it is only hearsay from a news article. Tidal is trying to construe evidence in their favor. It may very well be they are trying to say the Equity Term Sheet that was not signed by P (but signed by someone else) contained within it a POA. It could be Tidal is saying by signing the Equity Term Sheet P gave Tidal POA over streaming rights and albums. [Edited 4/10/17 10:06am]

I do not think Tidal is saying that P gave them POA for streaming rights. That makes no sense. I thought the article said that Tidal did not believe they needed his signature on the Equity agreement because someone else has POA to sign on his behalf.
I find it hard to belive that Tidal would give Prince 3 million and equity in the company if they were not sure it was okay for someone else to sign on his behalf.
I do not think this case would even be this far if they have not shown proof of payment and no one is going to pay someone that kind of money and they are not sure they have the rights to stream the music. I also think if we can take what unknown sources have to say about drugs seriously we can take what unknown sources have to say in this case seriously.
Prince talked and promoted Tidal continuoulsy from the very beginning. I do not think for one minute he did want the music on the site and did not get paid for it.

Article about Rhonda Trotter who also worked on the Masters negotiation. Could she have POA

Kaye Scholer’s Rhonda Trotter Helps Prince Gain Back Rights to RecordingsApril 19, 2014 For Immediate Release Kaye Scholer’s Rhonda Trotter Helps Prince Gain Back Rights to Recordings Los Angeles: Partner Rhonda Trotter, Co-Head of Kaye Scholer’s Trademark, Copyright & False Advertising Practice, helped put an end to rock icon Prince’s 20-year battle with Warner Brothers Records this week, when she secured the musician’s ownership of his master recordings. Under the terms of a new global partnership which she helped negotiate on Prince’s behalf, Warner Brothers granted back all of Prince’s rights in his recorded music catalogue, which includes best-selling albums such as Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999 and Purple Rain. In exchange, Prince allows Warner Brothers licensing rights to digitally remaster and reissue the albums he produced from 1978-1990. Called a “landmark deal” by Billboard, this is one of the few times that an artist has obtained back copyright rights to his master recordings in recent memory, and was reached in the midst of much discussion about the extent to which recording artists will succeed in using the termination provisions of the Copyright Act of 1976. Those provisions allow recording artists to terminate their copyright grants to record companies after 35 years, however, record companies have hinted they may challenge those terminations on various grounds, including that the recordings were purportedly “works for hire” and therefore not eligible for termination under the Act. The deal comes just a few months before the 30th anniversary of Prince’s Purple Rain album and motion picture. Purple Rain went platinum thirteen times, and in 2008, Entertainment Weekly crowned it the number one album issued in the last 25 years. In 2012, the Library of Congress added Purple Rain to its National Recording Registry list of sound recordings that "are culturally, historically, or aesthetically important, and/or inform or reflect life in the United States." Representing music industry clients in copyright matters is nothing new for Trotter. In 2012, Trotter served as lead counsel on behalf of independent record distributor Central South Distribution, Inc., in breach of contract and copyright infringement action concerning recordings that pop singer Adam Lambert worked prior to appearing on American Idol in Burtscher, et al. v. Moore, et al. (C.D. Cal.). In 2003, she served as co-trial counsel in TVT Records v. The Island Def Jam Music Group (S.D.N.Y.). a lawsuit filed by an independent record label against a media conglomerate involving claims of fraud, willful copyright infringement, tortious interference with contract and breach of contract. A federal jury returned a verdict subsequently listed by The National Law Journal as number 17 on its list of the “Top 100 Verdicts of 2003.” Trotter is regularly recognized as a leading IP attorney, most recently in Best Lawyers in America for trademark law, as well as in Managing IP’s IP Star-s Top 250 Women In IP 2013 and by World Trademark Review 1000 2014 in which clients describe her as an “excellent trial lawyer” with “a real knack for communicating complicated concepts to a judge or jury.” She was also named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Angelenos to Know in Intellectual Property Law” list in 2012―one of 40 Los Angeles County lawyers to be selected for their outstanding achievements in the field. A graduate of Stanford University, Trotter received her JD from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall), where she was Senior Articles Editor of the California Law Review, winner of the McBaine Moot Court Honors Program, and recipient of the Stephen Finney Jamison Award for outstanding scholarship and advocacy. She currently serves as Office Managing Partner of Kaye Scholer’s Los Angeles office. Kaye Scholer’s Intellectual Property Department focuses on resolving disputes, both in and out of the courtroom. With an emphasis on patent litigation, we combine sophisticated scientific, technical and business knowledge with extensive courtroom experience. We also represent clients in high-stakes trademark, false advertising, and copyright litigation and advise companies on trade secrets protection, as well as hearings before the PTO. Exactly, Mumio. All of these much younger women where saddened when he died. Mayte. Manuela. Damaris Lewis. Judith Hill. Andy Allo. Janelle Monae. Every single one of these women who has spoken publicly about his death has expressed sadness over his death and reflected on the time that she spent with him positively. They all loved him/had love for him. Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above

In order to generate cash, those people overseeing the estate plunged into moneymaking ventures. I truly believe they should have stepped back for a year on anything to do with PP and unreleased work product. Coordinate existing contracts, stop removing videos, photos, etc., from the internet - get the music out there - let people hear and see his brilliance. If Prince had a grave, he'd be spinning in it right about now. JMO

Hopefully when the heirs are determined and the tax bill is resolved, things will align better.
I believe that Prince's control on his work was also a dertriment to his accessibility to the masses. The heirs wil have to learn from that. There is a balance of both. I get the vibe the siblings (as a whole) want that, it is just getting past the legalities and resolving the estate (lack of will).

He music was off platform services for what a year and a half. Come on. The masses could purchase his music anytime they wanted to the masses just do not want to buy music.
It is also WB that let some of the CDs go out of print althought the music division has been sold twice so I am sure that caused plenty of confusion.
The estate managers should have taken their time putting these deals together. So far we have take notices but no work product and rampant copyright abuses of his likeness with no end in site.
He had problems with UMG before and I am beggining to see the reason he did not want to do business with them anymore.

Laura, You have great points and strong arguements. However, the Legacy has a strike against it now. Prince can no longer tour to offset lost revenue by not having his music available to the masses. In addition, there is no longer any contributions being made to the Vault. The Heirs are now tasked with reaching a new (and complete) generation and generations to come to continue to sell and market Prince's work. UMG is not the first entity to work with Prince and stop. He has a history of that. But I agree, there is a reason the relationship was ended. Same as WB. But we know that Prince re-nogotiated his contract with WB. The terms are unclear, with the general idea (thanks to your research) that he had his masters. The Vault may be a seperate issue on ownership. The out of print CDs may be due to the new contract. Since the terms of the contract are not known, pure speculation. I think the manager should have taken their time, but unfortunately, time was not on the Estate's side. They needed to secure some funds for the tax liability. It seems PP is doing well and was put in the hands of an experienced company. The music end, well, that is such a complex monster in my opinion. Time will tell.

Unfortunatly, time is a wasting and time is money. If they do not start getting this Vault material out nexr year I think the interest in it will have dwidled. Anyone can download video and audio from YOUTUBE for free. Why not have a pay channel or at least a channel with some ads on it to bring in revenue. We know the estate is allowed to make deals while the probate is going on and UMG does have the rights to everything even the WB material once the WB contract ends in 2018. Not sure why UMG does not work to get some of the material post WB out this year. Where is the merchandise? Why is Prince face plasterd on Coloring books and mugs without one cent going to the estate?
Is UMG involved with the activities next week at Paisley Park? There are many ways to make money for taxes other then sticking songs most of us already have on streaming platforms to make a few pennies.
We also do not need Broadway shows like Koppleman wants to do.

LR, you have made some valid points. It is like the blind leading the blind. Unfortunately, because Prince did not make provisions for his demise - he really didn't, no matter what people say about the work he did with Phaedra - others have had to determine what he actually had and they still don't know even nearly one year later. The tributes are over. I, for one, think the April "celebration" is ridiculous - celebrating his death date? Really? And everyone climbing on board to make money this month of all months. Don't start me on this. I belong to some Facebook groups that are thrilled to be celebrating next week. I cannot understand them.
