The Judge's Order today approving Bremer's attorney fees
contained some interesting information.
- Comerica shall continue to search for assets
- Comerica shall investigate whether any action should be pursued for the return of the commission paid to Londell by Jobu
- Comerica shall investigate whether any action should be pursued for the Cousins/Church fiasco
- Prince owned over 40 business entities
- Prince had a warehouse with over 1,500 boxes contained in it
- Bremer coordinated with the investigations by the DEA and US Attorneys Office
- There were audits of P's 2009-2012 income tax returns
- Bremer investigated P's ownership in a charity entity and loans made to it
- There is/was some sort of litigation with the Turks and Caicos property
- The judgment from Italy against P for copyright infringement is still being pursued
- Brianna made an allegation of breach of contract (huh?)
- Some heirs objected to the UMG deal
- The Judge noted that none of the attorneys that started on the case are still around
- The Judge also gave a tongue lashing to the heirs and their attorneys: "The fragmented shotgun blast of activity that occurred at the beginning of this proceeding with a criminal investigation, an informal but overwhelming need for the community to grieve, create a memorial, gain information through the media and the need to search a vault, a seemingly endless supply of banker boxes, file cabinets and business records has given way to much more intense litigation and negotiations regarding heirs, claim against the Estate and entertainment deals. Current counsel do not recall or recognize that the Special Administrator did everything it could to stay out of of the Tribute Concert, leaving it to the heirs to deal with, only to get dragged in at the last minute as things unraveled and time became critical. Now the Special Administrator and its counsel are criticized for being too involved in the Tribute Concert."
- Throughout the proceeding and most certainly by the fall of 2016 there was constant "chaffing" over the recommendations of the Special Administrator which increased attorney fees for everyone.
- The Judge noted the heirs complain about the Special Administrator's attorney fees yet their attorney fees are in the millions.
- The Judge doesnt think it is prudent to investigate Londell but will do at the request of some of the heirs.
- Ditto for the church fiasco
- There was a separate Order by the Judge regarding the confidential and privileged information with P's prior attorneys, Henson and Efron. The Judge is allowing them to share this information with Comerica.

He certainly had a thing for young women and there are many references to virgins in his work. I'm not saying he was a dirty old man and I certainly don't think he was having sex with all the women that some here think he was, but he seemd to like the young impressionable women. RIP |

I think it is sad that no one wants to go after Londell if he did something wrong as well as Patrick Cousins if these guys stole they should be investigated. I hope at least they go after Cousins because I do not think he is going away if they do not stop him. 😳 I have stumbled across a copy of some of the charities P donated to when LFOA was active and I will share later seems like money sometimes went individual people and not charities which I thought was strange. |

[Edited 4/5/17 13:25pm]
I am not too worried about Carlin Q. I also believe that Prince did not have a child, at least through the claims. If so, the Estate would have been resolved by now. With that, I also do not believe that a Trust was established. I could be wrong, but just a vibe. I think the motion of determination is the best move the non-excluded heirs have made. I hope it puts pressure on the court, the determination is made and the SA will have to relinquish control to the heirs. That will prevent more Estate funds from being absorbed by lawyers. Just my 2 cents. Good points at this point if the idiots who are appealing win they can take it up with the heirs. I also think if he had kids he took care of it with a trust or settlement a long time ago. |

IF is the important word there. Some of the heirs (meaning Tyka and Omarr) didn't support the UMG deal. OK what is their alternative? Just objecting to everything the special administrator was doing isn't a plan. Let's not forget it was Tyka who announced the tribute concert at US Bank Stadium. Why did she announce that before a deal was in place with the venue and they had acts signed up to support a venue that large? Kudos to Bremar for putting Graceland in charge of PP. Hopefully Comerica will do something similar with the vault and get the right people in charge of it. Paisley Park is in your heart

I think what the Judge is saying is the value of the Church and of Londell's commission is less than the amount of money it will cost the Estate to investigate.

How hard it to investigate fraud when it comes to forgery especially if this happened after Prince died? How many federal laws do you think were broken? And both Londell and Charles Koppelman said other companies were considered. They went on the record. Whoever leaked to the WSJ chose to stay anonymous. I have a harder time trusting people who refuse to go on record. Also it's not like Prince ever changed his mind. Just because he was unhappy with Universal at one time doesn't mean he would have been a year or two later. Go look at the artist roster for UMG...it pretty much includes the who's who of the music industry. Paisley Park is in your heart

Because they dont have the document Londell signed with Jobu and are expending attorney fees fighting over the subpoena issued to Londell.
It is feuds like this which is eating up all the Estate money (which apparently was something P was banking on. )

As always, thank you for the summation. I also found it intersting the mention of the restructuring of a deal with WB, which may not be important.
I saw that too nelcp but forgot to put it on my list.
Thanks for pointing it out. I think it is important.
It may have some relations to the Vault and what WB may have rights/ownership to. Pure speculation on my end. This may have been answered but who owns the masters to the vault recordings done while P was still under contract with WB? Does the estate or WB now own those recording because P got his masters back? Or was there a clause if Prince died the recordings go back to WB? |

How hard it to investigate fraud when it comes to forgery especially if this happened after Prince died? How many federal laws do you think were broken? Also Pat is continuing to be a thorn in the side of the estate. How come no one reports him to an ethics board.
Because they dont have the document Londell signed with Jobu and are expending attorney fees fighting over the subpoena issued to Londell. It is feuds like this which is eating up all the Estate money (which apparently was something P was banking on. ) --I am not talking about Londell it is obvious that he has something to hide or he would turn over the paperwork. He is acting as if it is money to do as he pleases with. I am referencing Mr. Cousins if any real estate transactions were excuted by him and he was not the owner or had no authority to execute he has violated some major laws. [Edited 4/6/17 10:11am]Agree Prince stopped working with all of these people for a reason...not clear as to why the family brought any of them back |

David Hampton one of the engnineers who worked for Prince said WB has its own vault of Prince music stuff he turned in that they did not put out. I am under the impression that WB does not own the Prince Vault material since he put out Crystal Ball on his own. |

Family did not bring these people back Breamer brough in Londell and the family already said that they felt he got the job based on knowing someone at Breamer's law firm. They asked the court how come other proposals from other lawyers were not looked at. If was also Londell that went with Universal despite the fact that Dr. Funkenberry said that Prince felt they did not do enought about copyright infingement and was too overbearing on silly stuff like the dancing baby. |

You knowt I copied from a fan Facebook page and that page is closed. I made into a pdf and a word doc and it is too large to fit even after I have made the pic smaller.
I will type some of the donations later. He actually gave Kat $10,000.00 [Edited 4/6/17 11:34am] |
