I was inspired by the "fruit" thread and was hoping to get help compiling a playlist of Prince songs that mention "rain" in them (as I have always been fascinated by songs that involve rain...my favorite non-Prince "rain" song being Herb Albert's "Making Love in The Rain" which of course has it's own Prince influence due to it being a Jam/ Lewis production).

The obvious songs that come to mind are:

--Purple Rain

--17 Days ("let the rain come down")

--Rasberry Beret ("the rain sounds so cool as it hits the barn roof")

--Hallucination Rain

--Joy in Repetition ("she only said the words again and it started to rain...)

Can u guys think of others "rain" songs? Thanks in advance for your help.....

Ok...so that explains it! I appreciate the work (and will check out the reference asap!!) I was floored how quickly u could come up with all of those lyrics!!!
