Glastonbury 2004? UK news 7th April...
"The reason he pulled out was that his new wife Mani is now pregnant and he didn't want to leave her. He has said yes to Sunday night headline for 2004 - which is part of a World Tour planned for 20th Anniversary of Purple Rain" .

Where did you see this, Funkyfine?
I don't think Prince is the type of person to retread his steps or ride on his past glories but, y'know, there COULD be some truth in this. We all know how much Prince loves the $$$'s - with a re-released 'Purple Rain' and much media coverage/critical acclaim (do YOU know a reviewer who doesn't love this album??) it could prompt Prince into action next year. (Even if he doesn't share our notions of time/history/birthdays, etc..). It would also explain why he couldn't attend this year's Glastonbury. I can't wait to see what the future holds; fingers crossed!

Which UK 'news'?"The reason he pulled out was that his new wife Mani is now pregnant and he didn't want to leave her. He has said yes to Sunday night headline for 2004 - which is part of a World Tour planned for 20th Anniversary of Purple Rain" . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

This is more tittle-tattle from popbitch so take with apinch of salt but to me it feels like it could have a ring of truth. Of course Glasto 2004 is nowhere near being a certainty but here's hoping...

So far you've simply stated something has come from 'UK news' ... that is like saying you read it on the internet, overheard it on a bus, or read it on a lavatory wall.ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice.
