I'd love to see Prince work with Wendy & Lisa again in celebration of the anniversary of their grand collaboration.
The Hit N Run tour showed how insanely bored Prince was with those songs, and the performances consequently suffered. Part of what made the ONA tour work so well was that Prince was excited to be up there performing those songs. As much as I don't like the TRC album, his live performances of several of those songs was fantastic. Prince and Wendy and Lisa together with a bunch of new songs would be a blast. | |

Essence...where did u read about a tour being on the cards? As far as im aware - all that has been RUMOURED at this point is that Warners are doing something with regard 2 re-mastering the PR album with a POSSIBILITY of added trax - this is the 1st ive heard of a 'Purple Rain Reunion Tour' & let's face it - that aint ever gonna happen!  He's never been one 2 look back  4 a start...although the idea is appealing - in my dreams!
Roadhouse Garden sounded a more contempory take on the whole 'reunion' thang - I 4 one would like 2 see Him do something with Wendy & Lisa again - there was a really interesting dynamic there that He just aint had with others (not 2 say that any of that's bad tho!) It's just that there was a real intersting spark off of that trio - add 2 that Clare Fischer's gorgeous orchestraions...and im drooling...

In a fantasy world it would be a World Purple Rain Tour and A Celebration Right behind It with an all access passes to the Rock n Roll hall of Fame show and after party and after that we all would ride Prince's Motorcycle around Lake Minnetonka.
in the real world no it is not Going to happen he would have to do all of his dirty stuff instrumental ...now that would be fun  or it could be a jam session with everyone he has ever worked with I would not count on it .
