2.Y.2.D This song was written about???? If you listen to the lyrics carefully in this song, it seems to be written about a person who was considered for American Idol but was on X-Factor. This person also likes to play truth or dare on social media and I think they are part of Universal Music Group as well Who do you think this song was written about?

I don't think your question is ridiculous at all. Besides which, Prince left so many clues that he couldn't have possibly even been trying to be vague about whom he was singing. Just take a look at this photo and think about the lyrics, not to mention his associations during that time.

For a second there, I thought it was Melanie B. She would be a judge on one of these shows and I know her and Prince did seem to hit it off for quite some time. |

this performance is on fire! it kept me hoping that this track would end up on Plectrum Electrum.
i like the released version well enough, but it's cool to at least have this live beast of a performance

I would love to hear it. I just read a review about his shows at the DNA and they seem the stuff of legends. Prince was so otherworldly. |
