Your fantasy tracklists Given the amount of threads that get posted with people's fantasy tracklists, I thought it might as well be in one thread. No rules, no time-period restrictions - what ever fantasy tracklist you wish to post. And yes, it's a good way to kill boredom. 9. High Fashion (Unreleased Extended Mix)

Nice. Always wanted to hear Solo (New Power trio version). . I love the first 4 tracks of 10,000 Wallpaper, especially the way Come segues into Endorphinmachine so I'd sequence them together. Poem Interactive Come Endorphinmachine | |

It is 1985 in an alternate universe. ATWIAD has just been released to the bafflement of the music world. Studio pressures for a more traditional album, an emerging bootleg market and fan demand for a "proper follow-up" to Purple Rain cause some friction between WB and Prince. In response, Prince and the band holds off their busy movie/album production for a couple weeks to polish some of the funkier vault tracks, shoot some promotional work and package it as a double LP of new material. Despite a lack of promotion by the man himself, the album is a sizeable success, with singles like "The Dance Electric," "Nothing Compares 2 U" and "Moonbeam Levels" performing well in the charts. Several songs were also recorded by Prince's various proteges but no one really cares about them anyway. Prince & the Revolution: The Second Coming (1985)
DISC 1
DISC 2
In that same alternate universe, the Revolution has one more album left in them. Unsure of where to take their sound next, the band records what can be described as a rock/baroque pop clusterfuck comparable to The Beatles's White Album. All the while, Prince begins to horde tracks that would eventually become the Sign 'O' the Times album. Loved and hated for its lack of easily marketable singles, Dream Factory would be considered the oddball of the Prince catalogue, even after The Black Album's accidental release. Prince & the Revolution: Dream Factory (1986).

DISC 2
Okay, one more. Batman has come and gone and he 80’s are drawing to a close. With the failure of the Grafitti Bridge movie project, Prince reallocates some of the tracks planned for the movie into one last project before the next stage in his career: a pastel-toned album that is notably looser in theme and more relaxed in sound than any previous effort since 1985's ATWIAD. While hardcores embrace the record for its Princely weirdness, its poor reception among the general public leads Prince to a complete reinvention as Prince and the New Power Generation. Prince: Rave unto the Joy Fantastic (1989).
