Musicology - 3121 (it's more off-kilter) Illusion, Coma, Pimp and Circumstance - Lolita (again, off-kilter--and not one of those "too young" songs A Million Days - Te Amo Corazon (I love this one) Life of the Party - Black Sweat Call My Name - Incense and Candles Cinnamon Girl - Love What Do U Want Me 2 Do - Satisfied (but I don't like either one, really) The Marrying Kind - Fury (though I like the sequencing of Marrying Kind into the next track) If Eye Was the Man In Your Life - The Word (this was a tough choice--I like both a lot) On the Couch - Beautiful Loved and Blessed (neither is all that great) Dear Mr. Man - The Dance (almost parody--but I like it. I liked the original version, too) Reflection - Get on the Boat (I sing the chorus of Get on the Boat out of nowhere a lot, though)
Edit to total the results: 4 for Musicology, 8 for 3121--but there's three honest toss-ups in the mix, two where I don't much like either song (and both went to the 3121 option) and one where I like both (and that contest went to Musicology's representative). [Edited 3/8/17 19:55pm] | |

Call My Name - Incense and Candles: Call My Name is a mature old school love jam, Al Green lite. I&C is tacky af
6. Cinnamon Girl - Love: I almost wanna love "Love" more, but the rock of Cinnamon Girl sits better than the super sticky bubblegum pop of Love no matter how funky that damn synth is lol.

Funny cuz I remember not liking 3121 as much as I did Musicology then. Looking back now, Musicology feels a little like a manufactured comeback album into the mainstream. But it's a bit stale. 3121 was the proper comeback album he needed imo. It's funkier and more fun and soulful than Musicology.
