The Dance Electric extended... Whether it is with Prince on vocals or Andre Cymone. What a wonderful sense of urgency and energy in this song as well as a great message... Every time I hear it, I have to get up and dance. Electric, indeed. That is the song that always captures Prince's essential message and sound for me; what is the song that does this for you?

"1999" and "Crystal Ball" hold somewhat similar messages and sense of urgency. He talked about death a lot, God, the end of the world, and making love. Even in "All My Dreams", he says "tonight we'll make love until the world stops turning".
