UK Fans you gotta check out 'Purple Rain - A Celebration Of Prince'!!

I saw them last night in Guildford and was really impressed.
I was very sceptical going to the gig for obvious reasons but it didn't take long for those worries to disappear.
They are a great band and Jimi Love does a great job as the frontman.
With a brilliant set list that spanned all eras (The Everlasting Now was a right surprise and treat!) I really can't complain.
I will definitely see them again one day.
They're currently touring up and down the country so I encourage you orgers to go!

they work hard to put on a good show

Good musicianship and all done affectionately from a fan's view. Even throws in stuff for the hardcore attendee such as recognisable extended jams, a St Paul style vocal on NC2U and the recent version of Little Red Corvette.

Noted! Topic title changed. Wouldn't want people to ignore this thread and miss out on the band. biggrin

Thank you for the recommendation - I always said I wouldn't see a tribute but I've took a leap of faith and booked!

Saw them last week in Glasgow, great stuff. Altough Ed Sheeran looks more like Prince than the singer.
