I hear that Prince always had his neck covered (from the 70s to 2016) in some way because his neck was abnormally long? What do you guys think? Ever seen him in just a regular t-shirt. Not shirtless, not in a dress shirt or anything else, just a t-shirt. Is his neck normal sized then?

these stupid ass threads are the reason many real prince fans stop posting here... instead we get all these dumb ass threads about his neck, about dreams, about his hair if he uses chemical hair relaxers. lets just discuss his legacy, his music, don't need to discuss his neck.

im surprised no one has ever made a thread yet called PRINCE NEVER CUTS HIS NAILS cuz in every pic i've ever seen of him his nails are never cut.

OP, no...I've seen plenty of pics and stuff of P's neck and it looks in proportion to his size to me, but your mileage may vary.

I was just noticing the other day that he always covered up his neck with oversize collars and whatnot. I don't think it was long, just a bit wide and he seemed to be sensitive to it.

True, yet a thread discussing his sexuality and penis, and every picture that showed the outline of his penis, was aggressively defended and went on forever on this forum. But someone asking a question about his neck is considered stupid?

Gotta be honest - this very topic is at the heart of my fascination with Prince. Not only was his neck "abnormally long", his head was twice the size of the regulation melon and his hands each had four fingers and a thumb - but - neither had less than four fingers on each hand. The physicality of Prince was so absorbing that, at times, I lost completely that he was a musician. I honestly regret the time I spent from 1984 to 1988 focusing simply on the length of the neck of the man rather than actually listening to his musical output. I know that the length of his neck is fundamentaly important ti understanding the man, his moods, his ego, his modus, etc...but it came at a cost and I haven't listened to any of the music from the 1984 to 1988 era with ears again.

Shall I stop?

So, I went back to look at some of the many photos of Prince on this site:

I really don't see anything "abnormally long" about his neck.

He is a slim and short guy so maybe we are seeing him standing up with better posture than most.

Plus if you look at the necks of others with him in those photos I think you'll see that at times the necks vary based on camera angle and lighting.

Abnormal? Not to me.
