If you click on each song title and scroll down, it will take you to the information about which tours the stats were taken from. That info indicates that he had actually continued playing the song in his later years.

Yes, they do!

It is really surprising to see that I Wanna Be Your Lover didn't make the list. He seemed to at least play it in a lot of samplers and it had the benefit of being such an early hit that it was a possibility for almost all of his tours.

I have just had a quick check based on the data they have gathered for the 21 nights in London in 2007 and it is spot on for all the shows I have been to.

It says here that 'Thieves in the Temple' was played 48 times (43 times in 1992): http://www.setlist.fm/sta...the+Temple

Forgive the self-indulgent post, but this seems like as good a place as any to post this: A list of Prince songs, along with the amount of times I've seen him perform them live.

Nothing too surprising here, other than the fact that there is no song he played each of the times I saw him (a total of 8 times). I made the list mainly because I was curious about which songs I was "lucky" to have heard; ie, the ones he played less frequently. Probably the favorite of the "single" plays was extended "Peach" that was later featured on the "One Nite Alone... It Ain't Over" album (recorded at a Portland aftershow, which was awesome).

Also, many of these songs were probably just sampler-set snippets, so this isn't really an exact or precise list. Again, I doubt this will be of much interest to anyone else, but thanks for the opportunity to post!

^Thanks! That's a pretty cool list, there is a big majority of them that I saw him play but still a few I haven't (like Dolphin). I would have loved to see him perform Joy In Repetition which he actually played at two of the London shows I didn't go to in 2007.

'11: 5 times during the 21 Night Stand in LA (cheating a bit I know, but at least he varied the setlists somewhat), and

Would like to have seen him back in the day, but such is life... Just glad to have gotten the opportunites I did. Every show was stellar, in my book.
