I'm not sure of what you're trying to say really. I don't recall them taking any music business class in school BTW but I may have overlooked an info. Everyone's different, everyone had a different relationship to Prince and everyone's story is different. But as I said I didn't bring that up to launch a debate about the morality of the situation. Based on Andrés interviews I see no reason to doubt his claims, he seems honest about everything he says, therefore I assume until contradicted by another associate his claims can be viewed as valid and I felt it was necessary to share this piece of info with some orgers who may have missed it. I wasn't there and it's not my place to be judgemental about the situation, I'm merely bringing up factual information. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have said they all took classes on the Business of music from their teacher Mr. Hamilton. Not sure if Andre was included but he did say he and Prince got ripped off by Morris's mom when she managed Grand Central so I would have hoped that situation would have opened his eyes as a young man. I am not doubting his claims he just needs to let it go. He did not secure his rights to any material he provided and he cannot get the rights now.
He already embarrassed himself with the "Do Me Baby" claims because the song sounds like "Frantic Moment" by Eddie Hazel.

[Edited 2/24/17 11:38am] --See the article below were he brings up Controversy and he brouhgt up "Do Me Baby" in past articles. He had no publishing deal so he knew he was not going to be getting credit. http://www.waxpoetics.com...re-cymone/

I'd read that long ago and completely forgot about Controversy, thx for reminding me that bit of info. It has nothing to do with having a publishing deal though, you don't need a publishing deal to get credit when credit is due. Note that it's the interviewer asking him about it, André didn't bring it up. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

BAMBI The thing about Andre is (imho), he let Prince get away with alot of shit. I can only imagine that there are probably a few other tunes that was originally Andre's idea, but maybe he felt closer to Prince than the other way around, was in awe of P's talent or maybe, just maybe most all of the stuff Jesse says about Prince is true, maybe Prince was an asshole. On the other hand and this is also confirmed by Jesse that P often gave writing credits where none was due! Now wheter this was a credit SWAP, him feeling generous or something else who knows. But even Prince admitted that he had two sides, and they both got along lol.

Jesse has changed his tune a lot over the last couple of years. He said he was thankful for Prince showing him how to use studio equiptement and helping him with his carreer. We will never know what went on in the Anderson household and what the dynamic was between Andre and Prince.
I suspect a lot went down they we are never going to be privy too.

I suspect a lot went down they we are never going to be privy too. True dat! Ive always wondered about that myself. Andre has also implied that he worked on P's first album as well. Hmm, i can almost bet that at some point Andre might write a book about his time with P like Dez did. You think he might?

He might I just wonder if we are going to get the real story. Mrs. Anderson had a hugh influence on Prince' s life but that does not mean the Anderson sibs were happy about him being around 100% of the time.
Andre has already said his brother Eddie was a pimp and that Prince got an education living in his house. I wonder if it was the wrong education.

Jesse has provided evidence that Jungle Love was originaly his. Why hasn't Andre done this same with any of all he's claimed to have created? Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

Er... How can I be "one of those people" but you're not when, as far as I can tell, you're the one determined to make a point when I was not even trying to make a point at all in the first place? In any case, if 2 people disagree on something and won't change their mind, it's awfully dishonest for one to accuse the other of "going to be right no matter what" when they themselves are not prepared to reconsider their own perpective. . Ever since Prince has passed your behavior on the board has changed drastically. For one thing I do not understand why you need to show so much hostility every time we're having a conversation, I don't know that I've ever done a thing to you. I don't even remember us entering any sort of an argument in all those years we've both been here. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
