Millenials review Prince music .
Stanford students show that our man's music won't fade away, even though they haven't yet gone deep: http://stanfordartsreview...-playlist/ . [Edited 2/21/17 19:42pm] Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I absolutely LOVE how it hasn't even been a year and P is being discussed academically.
To my mind that's certainly got to be a good sign about the public not being willing to drop the ball regarding P's career, impact and legacy moving forward.

These may not specifically be, I dunno, I haven't read them yet...but P's work is being discussed by musical academics.
Let me put my thoughts in a more simple way, then...P's lifelong work and his subsequent legacy continue to be discussed.
How's that? Better?

I've actually run into quite a few millenials who appreciate Prince's music and are knowledgeable about it...before his passing. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

My mom showed me Purple Rain in 2004 when she was going to see him on his Musicology tour. Then she showed me Purple Rain soon after that. My whole life I've spent getting people my age into Prince and its worked...in high School not so much 😂😂

I drove my son nuts playing The Gold Experience over and over in the 90s when he was a kid. But when he started teaching himself guitar in his late teens he started listening to Prince and taught himself how to play some Prince songs. He was so proud when he conquered the Let's Go Crazy guitar solo! I also took him with me on my more recent Prince adventures when I started going to Prince concerts in 2010. What a ride! He just introduced his girl friend to Prince on Spotify when the catalogue became available. I sent him some new music from another artist and he said he was too busy listening to Prince with his girl friend to listen to another artist! --With the outpouring of grief we saw after his death I have no doubt that Prince's music was well liked by a wide variety of people. The music was off major streaming platforms for no more than a year or so and was never not avalible at all. You got to look pass the media nonsense and the stupid music industry.

It's great to see college students in 2017 appreciating the value and impact of Prince's music.
