I just heard the extended verion and I was amazed.
My fav part of the song is the guitar solo. I thought the distortion of it was pretty cool.
I think this song was a demo at first because he had three solo parts to it. One was bass, second was the electric guitar, and third was the Piano solo.

Does anyone have the VINYL of this 12"? If so, what's the album cover like? Plain, or something particular?

btw...the 12" of "sd" isn't "extended", it's the full-length version. it got edited 4 length on the prince album, which sux a bit--threw me 4 a loop when i first heard it on the album. i wuz like, "this is not the type of song that's only 4 minutes long, there's gotta be a 12-inch!!!"
