This was tracked live by the NPG at studio 301 in Sydney in late April 1992 on the Diamonds & Pearls tour.
The original recording featured Rosie Gaines singing lead. Prince was thinking of having Carmen Electra add a rap, but he decided against it when his musicians intimated that it would ruin an excellent song. Nona Gaye later replaced Rosie's lead vocal (the circulating recording features Gaye). At 1 point, the track was shortlisted 4 the MPLS project. | |

It's fantastic, this would have brought up the whole D&P album which is already pretty good by 1 and a half notches. Personally .
