Montreux 2007 soundboard release NO TROLL THREADS! NO SOLICITING FOR BOOTLEGS! Discussion is fine, so long as the bootleg is not being promoted e.g. pre-release; requests/offers to share or copy, and links to download or bootleg sites are not. Posting Prince and associated artist videos from sites such as YouTube is also not allowed. Posts of this nature will be deleted and repeat offenders will be first warned, and then banned. Troll threads, fake tracklists, and attention seeking rumor threads will be also be swiftly dealt with. Just received the new Eye release for the Montruex 2007 show. Advertised as soundboard, however the first 5 songs are taken from an audience recording unfortunately.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy with it and it is a nice one to have but slightly dissapointed, mainly about the poor advertising.
Anyone know why the full show is not available in soundboard quality? Doesn't it exist in full? Any technical issues with it or is it there and will it be freed later?

mine sounds like all soundboard but the vocals aren't really there on Satisfied, probably sound issues, track 3 Beggin Woman Blues the vocals are there and fine

My 2013 show is very good except for some very slight visual graininess on the 3rd show. I thought they would be totally reputable but the guy wasn't honest about how long it would take to receive it. They send it via a slower form of mail - it took a month. By then it was all over YouTube. I am still very, very happy to have it though. How long did yours take to get to you? | |

I didn't even know it was out. Someone who was working at the label that was in charge of releasing Montreux shows once explained to me that while 2009 and 2013 were viable options though negociations with P seemed to be super complicated, 2007 was out of the question because there were sound issues with the audio recording and because P would never allow it.
