Do you find "P Connections" everywhere? My adult kids swear that I make every conversation end up being connected to P, even when it has nothing to do with him.
"Mom, must ALL roads lead to Prince?" Um. Yes, yes they do!
I was watching The Founder with Michael Keaton, it's about how McDonald's became a huge corporation.
P connections:
#1. Michael Keaton played Batman and P did the soundtrack. #2. When Ray Kroc was expanding McD's, in one scene they opened the first Minneapolis McD's and they're opening a second location...the guy suggests Hennepin and I immediately thought of P smelling McD's french fries.
What about y'all?

Yes! In the fall I went on a biking trip out on Cape Cod. While cycling (and listening to P on my iPod) I passed Prince rd, Prince st, prince's court... On and on all weekend. At Christmas time I stumbled across a wineglass that said, "All That Glitters," in gold glitter paint. I apologize to my fellow shoppers in TJ Max for the giggles... A month or so ago, I was skiing at Mt Snow in Vermont, and there, in 3 foot high letters in the window of a ski shop, was the gigantic word, "G R I N D." Forget giggles, I laughed so hard people were probably wondering what was wrong with me. Totally worth it. :) And I swear, at this moment I am in Vermont on a ski trip with friends, last name... Wait for it... Prince.  And the MUSIC continues...forever... | |

Are you saying that Prince worked for McDonalds and got fired for giving away food? I've never heard that he worked for McDonalds. I heard him say in an interview that at 16 he needed a job and looked in the phone book and couldn't find anything he wanted to do. That's when he decided to put all his energy into music. | |

I got in the car yesterday with my 10 year old son and 'When Doves Cry' was the first thing we heard on the radio. I immediately snapped around and said, 'I had nothing to do with this!', to preempt a sarcastic comment from my son, who says I am always listening to Prince, which is true, but whatever. Then I said that this must be a sign from Prince that he is feeling the love...(When Doves Cry is one of my favorite Prince songs). So, yes, I am always on the lookout for the 'P Connection', lol | |

Tonight I was at Walmart and needed a calendar. I was deciding between one with cats and one with butterflies, I really liked the cat one. I turned them over to see the pictures, and on the butterfly one the prominent month was June, and the picture was a Queen butterfly - like a Monarch. I just said, " Okay, Prince, you win.
