It's Christmas Morning. You get a batch of TEN unreleased Prince songs from The Vault. What era do you want??? For me it would be the era between Dirty Mind and Controversy, 1981-1982, when Prince was in love with New Wave power pop music but he was still forging together his emerging Minnenapolis Sound. | |

. This. 1982 has an even larger, and less researched trove of unreleased material than 1986. . 1981 would be great too, and has a lot of mystery about it. .

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I was pretty interested in Madrid 2 Chicago and Breathe when they came out--more than I was in the One Nite Alone... tracks. So, yeah, that album might be a nice thing to hear. | |
