* It’s painful seeing Purple Rain, Parade, Lovesexy and Controversy placed so low, but there’s barely a hair’s breadth between the Top 9 for me. If we were to include proposed albums that didn’t make release, Camille would be up there (3 or 4). Equally, if side-projects were included (The Time, Vanity, Apollonia, The Family, Jill Jones), one of those would probably take the number 10 spot.

If u talk about the BEST... Then no...

However D&P, COME, LOVE SYMBOL are all great albums IMO.

GOLD is good, overrated here, but good.

So many amazing albums off the list...I am one who actually really likes Emancipation. Also really been enjoying the Vault (OFS) album... oh yeah, hard to forget the Black Album and Prince. Lotus is great too!! So many!!! As far as side projects, The Family is my favorite (and the demos out there of P singing Mutiny, High Fashion and Desire r exquisite!!) My list may change, but those top 5 really r not going anywhere!!
