Where are the maxi singles? Prince made a lot of maxi-singles in the 80's and 90's but on all the streaming services i saw only a few. Now he's back on spotify, there are the same ones as there used to be 2 years and are also on tidal. Where are they? Does anybody know how did works. It cant be too hard for them to put a few music files there  No i wish u heaven, partyman mix, mountains ext, i would die for u ext, anotherlover ext, scandelous suite...the list goes on. |

Some artist have a lot of maxi singles. Bjork for example has like 30 maxi singles on Spotify. But its funny with prince that there are always the exact same maxi singles. [Edited 2/15/17 7:39am] |

i loved all of his maxi singles and remixes. He was the king for maxi's and remixes. Just days after he died, a fan posted all of his remixes, maxis, and alternate versions of just about every song he offically released. versions I never knew existed. They were posted on Youtube and then taken down about a week later. What a shame. I didn't get a chance to listen to them all. I hope that universal or warner brothers decides to release all of these tracks in a box set. | |

It's obvious that some of the 9-10 minute cuts were deemed to be too funky for public consumption and had to be withheld.
Seriously, though, Prince put out so much material that a lot of the more obscure releases are going to get left behind. I figure that we'll see some of the maxi-exclusive tracks packaged with album rereleases. | |
