I just listened to the Oracle clip and I did not hear him say Tamron's name. It was not even close, IMHO. What he said is this: "Tell me, Tell me, baby, where did Prince go wrong." That is all. And, I listened several times at full volume. His voice was very clear. I suspected strongly that this was not the case because if Prince had actually name-dropped Tamron Hall in a song, especially "Nothing Compares 2 U," that story would have been trending worldwide the next day.

Not trying to belittle Paisley Park or Prince, but him living at PP is akin to a shop owner back in the day living in his upstaris quarters with his store on the main floor. I see nothing wrong with Prince living at PP. It was his nirvana- he created his music there and he lived for music. What better set up could he have had?

You have to understand the area, Chanhassen. In spite of a relatively easy to scale chain link fence (which has always been under surveillance fyi), you have doors that are securely locked. Really nothing to discuss here. He didn't want to live like Michael Jackson, and for the most part, he didn't. He rode his bike under the bridge to the city park next to PP. He felt safe in the area, because he was safe.

ok...most people who live above their shops HAVE to do so to survive and run the business. They are also not as glamorous an abode as Paisley Park, they are typically hovels lol. Paisley Park was an industrial mansion basically. And he didnt HAVE to stay in his place of business, it was a choice. And the Park wsnt something that was patronized on the daily with many patrons who he did not know, as other businesses are. He controlled who entered.

Thus, his situation living there was NOT akin to people living above their businesses.
