At least The Rainbow on 4/21/16 or was it the next day, very near PP was a good sign. I think. [Edited 2/20/17 14:03pm]

Actually if people would just Calm down a little bit and STOP all their projections, its quite easy to discern that the MAN Prince of the Last 3 or 4 years was vastly different that the young boy Prince who started out..
His style of dress alone should tell you that he was no longer going after the "Sexy"His clothing was almost Monastic...it was fuss free, without so much embellishment , "bells and WHistles" I imagine it took him a whole lot less time to get ready in the Mornings, his mind was on other things.
THe young women he had around him, his relationship with a lot of them would have been very Paternal, or brotherly...In the last few years we started hearing a lot more of the "Uncle P" bit..
He probably still did romance one or two here and there...(big grin for FLY ) but not every one of them ... His reverence for women took on another dimension, it became more about the MIND not so much the Body....
--/ And you know this because you had a long conversation with him. Oh and know one said he was going with all of them. Leopards do not change their strips.

But he was a JW quite of few years, in the beginning years you are probably right. But maybe the last 1-2 years he was actually being celibate.

Powers of OBSERVATION.... that... and I personally know one young Musician that Prince was "pursuing" for want of a better word since 2013...Her stories and account of his interactions with her say a whole lot ....
Nik West was pursued by Prince in a similar way..
I stand by what I said..

Thank you. It actually creeps me out a bit that some people think this way. And I'm not talking about not believing he was celibate but assuming he was banging every woman he came in contact with as if someone can't grow, mature and perhaps have different priorties as they get older. Like Prince told Arsenio Hall in 2014: there's a lot of things he did 30 years ago that he doesn't do any more. Paisley Park is in your heart

Love, I never got the impression that Prince was pursuing Nik West romantically. From all her reflections, it sounds like they developed a really special friendship. In fact, she referred to him as her "best friend." He even introduced her to Andy Allo and Nik "liked" the photo of Prince leaving the Dakota carrying Andy's coat to the car. She left the following comment on Andy's heartbreaking tribute to Prince on Instagram:

Fly..you may have misunderstood me...
I was using the word PURSUED loosley becasue most girls that Prince sought out to mentor or work alongside, never believed it was really Prince at first so had to go hard at it...
I was saying that My Musical Friend here in Australia was Pursued by Prince in the same way that he Pursued Nik...
A very specail LOVE It was a friendship, mentorship, brotherly fatherly kind of thing...He wanted to encourage support, and guide There was a sweetness to these relationships....almost a purity
No hint of anything like what other people suggest...

OH, Love, I did misunderstand. I'm glad we cleared that up. I think some people really believe that the older, evolved Prince was still trying to bang everything walking. Heck, I don't even believe that young Prince was doing nearly as much as the legends would have us to believe. I think some of it was P's carefully crafted "cocksman" persona. Actually him living at Paisley Park is not that odd. Just think of it like a lot of wealthy celebrities have movie theatres in their homes , Basketball courts, bowling alleys etc. Also some people (regular folks,non- celebrity) work out of their homes where they have an office, phone, copier & fax machine. I'm sure Prince's Paisley Park Studios have everything one would want n a residence and workplace I did hear that Prince does have another house in Minneapolis,a more traditional home.

On 4/21/16, he dies alone at PP, you mean to tell me, that there was NO security on site, even if he didn't die, I find that very strange...I might be reaching, but given what we know about his medical state how the hell did anyone leave him alone there?!?!
Just breaks my heart You sound scared. Prince wasn't scared. What?

In addition, what is bad about Prince picking up at airport and taking her out on date and making a pass at her. Maybe I missed something but is dating against the law? Guys are not going to always going to women out on dates as just friends. Maybe he had some women that were in the friend zone because they put Prince in the friend zone most guys do not want to just be friends they just get thrown in that area. It is foolish to think he had no romantic dates for 10 years after his marriage and dates do not always mean sex.

Kandace's story evolved over time. She always said that he was a mentor and that she spent time at Paisley Park. She also mentioned the movies and him picking her up at the airport on her birthday and taking her to the movies. She also played her CD for him.

I believe Ksndace said that Prince "tried" but she didn't want to go beyond a friendship. He was spiritually evolving and into giving - but he was also human. None of us truly know, but I believe he still wanted to be loved by a woman. That's part of spirituality sometimes, when you're ready. He had a whole nother phase of life those last several years - I could feel that last night as I contemplated things. There's nothing wrong with it if he wanted to explore love with various people, to see if one was meant for him, or even just to appreciate different women for a time. As long as he was respectful and honest, and I believe he was. As for those who speak about things, some are simply more open about their experiences. As for those who don't, I respect that, but let's be honest: it also can work to create a "mystery" and sell books, music, whatever.

But either way I don't like it because that was something Prince never did. And if these women had class and respect for the man they wouldn't be blabbing either. And I'm not referring to people like Kim Berry or band members that have given interviews. Paisley Park is in your heart

Maybe she just wanted to be authentic and transparent. I sensed her as someone who simply wanted us to have a truthful picture of Prince, in all ways. I didn't see her as being particularly self-serving. Others have expressed many things about Prince non-romantically that I thought were far more detrimental.

I did not say you said it I am telling you were it came from. What is factual. You have implied that Prince was some monk who was celibate and could not have possibly be interested in these woman as more than a mentor.

At the Oakland concert on March 4, 2016, when singing "Nothing Compares To You", Prince sings..."tell me Tam'ron where did Prince go wrong". Has anyone else heard this? I definitely think there was more to that relationship than we know.
