Google Play - volume issues It's probably the same case across all streaming sites, but I was listening to Prince's return on Google Play this morning when I noticed that Sign O The Times (track) was significantly louder than the rest of the album, with exception of Adore, which is also much louder. Same case with 1999, the title track and Little Red Corvette are incredibly loud in comparrison to the rest. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

I'll stick with my Ipod and CDs on stereo... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

At first I assumed that they were just sharing the files between the album and greatest hits, but Adore was only remastered on The Hits in edited form. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

Try listening to Parade. You'll be ducking for cover.

Yep basically it's the same problem across all artist catalogues and google don't seem to care. Here is an ongoing google forum thread that I have posted in, aling with many other users who are frustrated. https://productforums.goo...oG6YLvqefM I think with Apple Music and Spotify there is some sort of equaliser you can use but google never bothered to put one on their service. So frustrating when different songs change volumes unexpectedly!
