Thanks for the article Latin. It is wonderful to read how the people who were around him in his later years typically speak so well of his character. Janelle was probably more like him them many of the women he chose to focus on: She has boundless creative energy that one can see even if you don't love her voice. She wasa great in Moonlight and Hidden Figures!

Thank you for the article. I was happy to read that Mr/Dr PRN knew of Ms Monae's work on the film and was proud of her.

Looks like Prince is trying to brush her away with his right hand. He didn't like people hugging up on him like that female or male. There was concert footage of a duet with Esperanza Spalding. She started rubbing her hand on his chest and Prince grabbed her hand and said, "No." It was loud enough for eveyone in the arena to hear. She seemed startled so he tried to make it up to her at the end. But, man, he didn't like that. LOL

I hope you do not mind that I mention and share Ms Monae's "Givin 'Em What They Love" (featuring Mr/Dr PRN) from her Electric Lady album (2013).

Per PrinceVault: "Prince appears on the track, providing co-lead vocals, guitar and bass guitar, as well as co-writing the lyrics (most likely writing lyrics for his own vocal section)..."

I always got the same impression from this photo. I know that he loved her dearly, but Prince looked like he was like, "Chill." They probably looked back and laughed at this moment.
