Yes, I seen who they were when I was skimming the items last night.

Why is it upsetting you? You know some of this stuff could be sold to Paisley Park. These chicks are selling notes that probaly went in trash and Jackie Sawson notes I bet did not even get sent to her since these chicks have them. If they were gifts how come he they did not sell this stuff when he was alive and why did Prince say people stole stuff?

everything U said r assumptions which u like to put like facts. but they still r assumptions. everything I did was asking questions.

I didn't even reply to ur reply ... why do u feel affected?

hmm ... think about it or leave it. as u like.
I personally don't like that kind of conversation that's why I won't go there with u.

--Everything I typed in my response to you was a question. One of which was directed at you which you did not answer. Once again why in the hell would Prince give a note he wrote to Jackie Swanson to his assistant to keep? Why are assistance saving notes to them to do task? Do you think the notes were gifts? Just think about these questions and ponder why I think they stole stuff. Please go there with me on these questions.

no. it was not. everybody can see it.

One of which was directed at you which you did not answer.

I'm not upset. I just asked u why u accuse someone without knowing the details.

Once again why in the hell would Prince give a note he wrote to Jackie Swanson to his assistant to keep? Why are assistance saving notes to them to do task? Do you think the notes were gifts? Just think about these questions and ponder why I think they stole stuff. Please go there with me on these questions.

once again: please change ur attitude and ur wording if u really want to talk to me. thank u.

do u know the sellers (plural! this thread us about several things sold by different persons)?
do u know jackie?
did u know prince personally and his relationship to all those ppl?
do u know prince was serious with that comment in the interview ur referring to? and if do u know what exactly he was talking about?
do u know the story of those letters to jackie (there is actually more than one sold by different people btw)
have u been around back then?

if u can't answer those questions (and these r only the first few coming to my mind) with YES I ask u again to stop accusing them of stealing. there are 1000 possibilities ...

--Once again you did not answer one single question that asked and appear to be misinformed. I do not know them personally but I know who they are because I put up the link identifying them along with items they are selling. I do not know Jackie personally but I know who she is. I know Prince dated her around the Parade period as she has actually done interviews and discussed him. Common sense should tell you that these chicks took these personal notes to her to sell. I would find it hard to believe that she would give the notes back to the assistant to sell. Why would she not keep the notes to sell herself? Why does this have to be explained to you? Yes, I saw the George Lopez show when he brought up stolen items and he mentioned it again in the Rolling Stone interview. He was not joking when he was speaking to George Lopez about stolen items. How do you think the bootleggs got out? According to Alan Leeds tapes were stolen from Paisley Park. You also do not get to tell me what say about these people. I am going easy on them compared to how they are getting dragged on Facebook. If they were concerned they could have sold stuff anonymously.

That might be true although I cannot see anybody paying $200.00 for some balled up paper from the garbage can about concert rehearsals but one man's trash is another man's treasure.

It is also does not change the vulture nature of what these chicks are doing. I am acutally not surpriesed at Gwen Leeds she and Alan have been suspect for sometimes.

Interesting read on these items. Again, Thieves in the Temple.

Case in point: A test pressing of a 1986 record that never saw the light of day, “Camille,” sold for $20,000 last fall via Livingston’s auction site after it got written up in Rolling Stone.

The seller of that album, Karen Krattinger, worked a variety of jobs for Prince including production coordinator in the mid-1980s. While she said she feels privileged to have worked for him — “It was an amazing time” — she likened the items she sold off as “just things I took home from work.”

.

Good, I'm glad they didn't get special attention.

When a group of about 40 former Paisley staffers came to town to tour their old workplace in November, Krattinger said she earned a “negative response” from a staffer at the studio-turned-museum in Chanhassen about her previous auction items. The alumni were made to pay for the tour like everyone else, she said, and were not given any special access to see their old offices.

,

“Prince had issues with stuff like this when he was on Earth and would find a way to purchase the items, work out an agreement, or shut them down,” Freed said. “The new reality is that he is no longer [here], and in some way, the sellers didn’t do this when he was here out of respect.”

Many of these comments are rife with conjecture which ultimately serve only to illustrate the unsavory ill intent of a small minority of org posters. Please note certain misguided comments verging on libel and slander.

Presumptuous and desperate whilst lacking scope & perspective. Sad to read such darkness. Bottom line; you're not Prince. Don't make assumptions - delusionally rendering yourselves knowledgeable regarding the nature & depth of his relationships, personal and/or professional. Suffice to say he wouldn't approve. Those relationships belong to him. They're not yours to dissect and diminish in such tawdry fashion. Love and Gratitude for Prince.

Yes, because we cannot tell that little notes he dashed off he actually wrote for the sole purpose of having these women sell them later. My guess is he wanted them to do the task and toss the notes.

We also have interviews were he is stating people stole stuff.

If these wome were worried about someone slandering them they would have kept their identities unknown they are being ripped on many facebook pages and their names are known to the public.

I would almost bet money they do not have notes of authencity for wrinkled pieces of paper if you cannot show it was given to you I would bet that claims of slander would go nowhere.

Nothing dark about people having an opinion.

They did not do this when he was alive because he would have stopped them. It has nothing to do with respect.

Now we know we Karen is admitting she stole stuff. Stuff that is probaly copyrighted material but stupid Bremer bank did nothing stop that auctions. A lot of this stuff could go in the museum but all of you promoting this mess should think about that for a minute.
